COVID-19 Safe Travel Protocols
Soulful Traveling is committed to community-based travel, to help make a positive impact on the lives of people, natural habitats where we visit and with our participants. In arranging travel services, both global and local, our number one priority is the health and safety of our guests, staff and community partners.
As we develop our programs and navigate the risks of COVID-19 in the destinations in which we work, we continue to partner with community allies in a safe, responsible and sustainable way. This safety protocol statement describes our expectations of staff, guests, and community partners, and how Soulful Traveling staff mitigates and manages the risks associated with COVID-19.
To ensure the safest experience possible for all of our guests and staff, Soulful Traveling COVID-19 safety protocols are adopted from the recommendations of the World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO).
We have adopted health and safety guidelines shared by and participated in COVID-safe training provided by the Adventure Travel & Trade Association (ATTA) and Cleveland Clinic, and the State of New Mexico’s COVID Safe Certified Program.
As an organization, we remain in daily contact with our site coordinators and program staff to ensure our operational decisions have safety as the number one priority in mind. To embrace a safe travel experience, the goal of our approach is to ensure that protocols are in place across all relevant functions with a focus on health, hygiene, and minimal physical contact guidance.
